Privacy notice on this static site

The site stores your privacy choice for six months in first-party cookies: fh_external_media records whether you allow the embedded video, and fh_privacy_notice records acknowledgement on pages without an optional embed. The cookies use path / and SameSite=Lax; on HTTPS they also use Secure. If cookies are blocked or you open the files locally, browser local storage is used as a fallback. You can change your choice on the home page using the privacy icon at the bottom right.

Background audio

The optional background track is served from this website, not from a third-party player. The site attempts to play it quietly when the page opens; your browser may require a click first. You can pause, mute or adjust its volume using the controls on the page. These audio settings are not saved.

YouTube trailer

The “Morddurst” trailer uses a local preview image. The YouTube player is not loaded until you agree to external media and click the preview image. That click requests playback with sound, subject to your browser’s autoplay settings. Once loaded, your browser connects to YouTube/Google and may transmit your IP address and page information; the provider may process further usage data. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not eliminate all data transfers. You may revoke consent in the privacy settings on the home page; this removes the player from the page until you consent again. See Google’s privacy policy for the provider’s processing.

Comments

Media
